‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’: Danielle blames Margaret for her divorce with Marty
Danielle Staub might no longer be the full-time housewife on ‘RHONJ’, but she sure is bringing in a lot of drama this season. It all kicked off with Teresa Giudice revealing to the girls that Danielle’s ex-husband Marty slept with Danielle, and things are better than ever between the couple. Danielle’s former best friend Margaret Josephs immediately calls out Danielle’s bluff and says Marty would never do that after all that the former housewife has put him through.
To clear up the air once and for all, Margaret calls Marty and asks him if he really slept with Danielle, and if they are getting back together. Marty calls Danielle a liar and says neither of those things happened nor will they ever happen.
In the latest episode, we see Teresa visit the former couple’s house and ask Marty about the phone call. Marty and Danielle then start throwing shade at Margaret and say she is on a mission to tear them apart and blame her as being the cause of their divorce. The couple appears to have conveniently forgotten about the accusations of “abuse” against each other that they filed as the cause of their divorce and decided to throw Margaret under the bus.
And several fans took to their social media to call out Danielle and Marty for blaming Margaret for their divorce. A fan tweeted, “How is @MargaretJosephs responsible for Danielle and Marty's divorce? You make your own choices in your life and you chose to sign those papers. #RHONJ”.
Another fan pointed out, “Margaret and others are responsible for their marriage breaking up? If someone else is responsible for a marriage breaking up then there’s something wrong with the marriage. Danielle continues to show no personal responsibility #RHONJ”.
Fans then began speculating the possible reasons for the couple’s split.
A fan commented, “Marty’s kids stopped talking to him because of Danielle, but she claims Margaret is the reason they got divorced? OK. #RHONJ”.
“Oh Danielle @MargaretJosephs is not the reason you and your husband have problems. It’s bc you are a snake & horrible wife! #RHONJ”, said another fan.
“Danielle, no one MADE Marty try to divorce you. If it's that easy for him to be swayed, he is not someone you want to be with anyway. #rhonj #bravo”, commented a fan.
Another fan echoed similar thoughts, saying, “Oh PLEASE Danielle and Marty no one broke you two up you all had a tumultuous relationship from the VERY BEGINNING and you two had ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS GETTING MARRIED #RHONJ”.
