‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’: Teresa acknowledges Joe cheated on her and fans think she is 'done' with him
Anybody who saw Teresa and Joe Giudice’s marriage on ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ would admit that their marriage was toxic. We saw Joe being nothing but horrible to his wife, despite his mistreatment of her she chose to stay in her marriage.
In an earlier episode, we saw Joe explicitly spell out to Teresa that the reason he made her sign a prenup a week before their wedding was that he didn’t want to marry her, and also mocked her by saying nobody would want to be with her because she has too much baggage.
Although the Jersey housewife was hurt by her husband’s harsh words, she still kept quiet because she didn’t want to upset her daughters. But in the latest episode of ‘RHONJ’, we saw a different side of Teresa. Back in the day rumors of Joe cheating on her were doing rounds, in fact, she even found a burner phone with his ex’s sister’s number on it. Although the writing was clear on the wall that Joe was being unfaithful to her, she turned a blind eye to it and defended her husband and marriage very fiercely, including picking up a fight with former housewife Jacqueline Laurita who brought the rumors of Joe’s infidelity to Teresa’s attention.
In the latest episode, we saw Teresa finally acknowledging the fact that her husband wasn't faithful to her at all times, and even talks about it openly in front of all the other housewives and their husbands. She explains her reasons as to why she thinks her husband was unfaithful to her, and also makes it clear that she doesn’t want that anymore, considering she has been nothing but an amazing and perfect wife, while all he brought to the table was hurtful words about her.
Fans were happy to see Teresa finally accept the reality about Joe, and think that maybe the housewife is totally done with him considering she isn’t defending him anymore. A fan tweeted, “Teresa has always known about juicy joe & cheating .. she’s just finally admitting it out loud #RHONJ.”
