‘Real Housewives of Dallas’: D'Andra dresses up as Mamma Dee for 'mid-life crisis' themed party and fans find it hilarious
The latest episode of ‘RHOD’ featured Stephanie Hollman throwing her husband Travis a party for his 50th birthday. She decided to go with the theme of “mid-life crisis”, as it best describes his current life situation according to the housewife. Everybody put their best foot forward by dressing up in their messiest best to adhere to the quirky theme. D’Andra Simmons, however, stole the show by turning up at the party dressed as her mother, Mamma Dee.
The brunette housewife borrowed one of her mother’s wigs and dressed up in a see-through bustier with pasties covering her breasts, and a shimmery jacket over it. As soon as D’Andra walked in everybody turned their heads to double-check whether it was D’Andra or Mamma Dee at the party. D’Andra was a spitting image of her mother. She explained that mid-life crisis according to her is her mother. D’Andra made sure her look was hilarious by sporting huge earrings with “sex” written on them.
Fans loved the housewife’s outfit and took to social media to express it. A fan tweeted, “D'Andra wins for best costume on Bravo, like, ever. Also, I want to see Mama Dee's wig room STAT. #RHOD”. “Omg...now that I know the theme for the b-day party, D'Andra's costume idea is the #GOAT! #RHOD #MidLifeCrisis”, commented a fan. Another fan wrote, “D’Andra dressed at mama D is making my entire life!! LMAO I’m dead they’re identical twins #rhod”.
“D’Andra as Momma Dee is so hilarious #RHOD”, observed a fan. Stephanie, in fact, mentions in her green room interview that D’Andra could just walk into the bank and empty the trust fund as she looks exactly like Mamma Dee.
