'Real Housewives of Orange County' star Kelly Dodd is no stranger to "foot in the mouth" moments. Over the years we have seen this housewife ruffle quite a few feathers with her controversial remarks on various topics, the latest being her insensitive statements on Covid-19.

However, Kelly isn't the only one who seems to be harboring dismissive and controversial opinions on the deadly virus as new housewife Elizabeth Lyn Vargas too seems to have quite a few questionable thoughts on the virus that brought the world to a stand-still.

On the latest episode of 'RHOC', Kelly and the other housewives were sitting around the pool and indulging in some idle chit-chat when the housewife spotted a very interesting news snippet. She read out to her fellow housewives about how the Golden State Warriors are playing a game without an audience and public gatherings being shut down. On hearing this, Shannon Beador immediately complained about how one can't get toilet paper in Costco anymore.

Emily Simpson began her own research on the current situation and stumbled across the news of 30 deaths due to coronavirus. When she announces this to the group, it elicited some interesting responses from the housewives. While Shannon and Gina Kirsvhenheiter looked worried and enquired more about these deaths, Kelly casually made a remark about how people die all the time anyway. Emily agreed with Kelly and responded that people died from the flu all the time.

This is when our new housewife stepped in and threw in her two cents. She declared that Covid-19 is "completely being blown out of proportion" and it will all be gone in 60 days! She elaborated further in her confessional saying how big pharma wants the vaccine and wants to sell the vaccine and cities need funding. So, she concludes that the entire situation is being blown out of proportion due to the pharma companies.

When viewers heard these controversial insights of the housewives, they were extremely triggered and furious. Several fans called out Kelly and Elizabeth for saying the situation was "blown out of proportion". A viewer tweeted, " I wonder do the ladies still think the coronavirus is blown out of proportion #RHOC."

"It’s rich hearing Elizabeth complain that big pharma is looking to cash out. No self-awareness from the franchise’s biggest gold-digger ever (bigger than Erika). #rhoc," commented a user. Another wrote, "Elizabeth: ’This coronavirus thing is so out of proportion’ 262K deaths in US and 1.42M worldwide. Out of proportion. #RHOC."

Another viewer questioned, "Yeah good call Elizabeth. 60 days? 30 'old people' deaths. Kelly with the flu comment. Fast forward 11 months and 262,000 deaths later Is it still a hoax a*******? #RHOC." "It’s blown out of proportion?? Tell the people’s families who lost loved ones #RHOC," seconded another user. "These b****es are going to piss me off in the next segment. Kelly saying it’s like the flu and one of the others saying it’ll be gone in 60 days. Well, ladies—it’s still here tw*ts! #RHOC," pointed a user.
