'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Season 10 Finale: Denise ghosts Garcelle, upset fans call her 'trash'

Fans felt that it wasn't cool on Denise Richards' part to stand up Garcelle Beauvais and make her wait for no reason

When all the other housewives turned their backs on Denise Richards after rumors of her alleged affair with Brandi Glanville was revealed to the world, Garcelle Beauvais was one of the few people who had her back. Housewives Dorit Kemlsey and Garcelle chose to belive Denise's side of the story that she didn't have any hookup with Brandi and that the former housewife was lying about everything.

Although Garcelle has time and again proved her loyalty to the 'Wild Things' star, Denise seems to have trouble believing it. On the season finale episode of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', we saw Denise ghost Garcelle. Dorit was throwing a party at her place and invited all the ladies. Denise, who hasn't seen any of the ladies (aside from Lisa Rinna), since their trip to Rome, had been avoiding Brandi like a plague.

Whenever Denise felt or believed that she might cross paths with Brandi, the housewife chose to avoid going there. Although Dorit didn't invite Brandi to the party, Denise was convinced that Brandi would be there, so she decided to skip attending the event.

But before she decided to skip the party, Garcelle and she had discussed going together to Dorit's party. So, Garcelle got ready and waited outside Denise's hotel for her. When there was no signs of the actress, Garcelle tried calling her, but couldn't get through. Her calls kept getting forwarded to another number. After waiting for a bit, Garcelle decided to leave but was unhappy with the way her friend was handling things.

Garcelle felt that Denise should have at least informed her about her plans to skip attending the party instead of standing her up. Fans too agreed with Garcelle and felt Denise should have informed her. A fan tweeted, "Denise standing garcelle up is trash #rhobh."

Another fan wrote, "Pretty sh*tty of Denise to stand up Garcelle when she has backed her all season. Denise really is above it all and for what? You are C List at best #RHOBH."

"Denise did Garcelle wrong. I get she wanted to protect her but they should have come up with a code word/phrase off camera like 'I think there’s rain in the forecast' so they know the other is bailing and don’t waste the others time...and still play innocent! #RHOBH," pointed out another fan.

"I will say it was wrong of Denise to stand up Garcelle. Garcelle has had her back through everything and for her to not even answer the phone and say I’m not coming. To make her wait and wait is rude. #RHOBH #RHOBHFinale," echoed another fan.

Eventually, the producers informed Garcelle at the end of the party that they received a message from Denise's husband Aaron Phypers that there was a family emergency due to which Denise couldn't make it to the party. Although Garcelle was mad at Denise for standing her up, she didn't let that sabotage or get in the way of their friendship.

'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Season 10 reunion airs on Wednesday, September 2, at 9/8c on Bravo.
