'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Reunion: Cynthia defends her and Kenya's friendship, baffled fans call her 'dumb'
Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey's friendship has been questioned time and again on 'Real Housewives of Atlanta'. During the reunion, one of the fans sent a question to Cynthia asking her why she doesn't hold Kenya to the same standards as her former best friend NeNe Leakes, and why she is drawn to toxic people like Kenya and NeNe. Cynthia explained it by pointing out that Kenya always owns up to her mistakes and is the first to apologize unlike NeNe. She then went on to explain that if she thought either Kenya or NeNe were toxic, then she wouldn't have been friends with them in the first place.
The producers then played a small clip of Kenya and Cynthia's friendship, where we saw Kenya ruining Cynthia's surprise engagement, then poking fun of Cynthia's limited knowledge of wine. When Cynthia saw the montage, she just dismissed all of Kenya's unacceptable behavior as "fun shade". Fans were beyond surprised to see Cynthia still standing so firmly by Kenya's side despite seeing all the times her so-called best-friend wronged her.
Fans began pointing out to Cynthia that Kenya isn't her friend. A fan tweeted, "If you were just tuning into this show and saw this compilation of Kenya & Cynthia, you would never be able to tell they are so called friends. #RHOA." Another fan wrote, "The fact that Cynthia can't see what Kenya has been doing to her all season is comical. Kenya is evil and miserable and she's not anyone's friend. Several fans began calling Cynthia "dumb" for not seeing through Kenya's fake friendship. A fan shared, "Dementia has clearly set in for Cynthia. Kenya is not her friend, but have fun... dumb, dumb.
