'Real Housewives of Atlanta' fans slam Dennis for denying Porsha her 'hot girl summer' and trying to control her
'RHOA' housewife Porsha Williams has certainly been through hell and back this year. From being cheated on during her pregnancy to suddenly becoming a single mother, the housewife is still trying to make sense of her new life.
During this difficult period, she chose to go for therapy to get some direction and closure. But that ended up bringing her cheating ex-fiancé / baby daddy Dennis and her a lot closer.
Now that they both are at least able to look at each other in the eye and trying to make their relationship work, Porsha thought it was only fair that he be put in the loop about her carnival plans.
On the latest episode, we see her calling Dennis and informing him about her plans to attend the Toronto Carnival, and maybe have a "hot girl summer".
Dennis immediately expresses his disapproval with Porsha's plans by saying that she "can't have hot girl summer", and then voices his disappointment over the housewife not getting the outfits she packed for the trip "approved".
Porsha may have just laughed off Dennis' concerns, but fans weren't that kind towards the hot-dog mogul. Several fans found it inappropriate on his part to control her behavior, while he was the one who made mistakes in the past, and not her.
A fan wrote, "Oh I KNOW that nasty ass, cheating, funny looking Dennis isn't trying to say what outfits Porsha can and cannot wear! Outfit Approval? Really? Who tf does he think he is? I love Porsha but she deserves better and can DO much better than that fat blind alley cat. My opinion. #RHOA."
Another fan shared, "Dennis has NO BUSINESS trying to approve Porsha's outfits #RHOA."
Fans also began questioning Dennis' authority. A fan tweeted, "Who the hell is Dennis trying to check Porsha about her outfits. ugh I can’t stand that dude fr #rhoa."
Another fan wrote, "Dennis has to approve Porsha outfits? When his fit is just tracksuits?? #RHOA." while a fan expressed, "Dennis said Porsha didn't call him to get those outfits approved? Sir, slow it TF down! #RHOA."
Many fans had some strong feelings about Dennis saying the housewife couldn't have her "hot girl summer" moment, considering her love for carnivals, and all the pain she has been put through.
A fan tweeted, "How TF Dennis gone tell Porsha not to have a hot girl summer when he was having a hot boy fall, winter and spring while Porsha was pregnant?! I can’t #RHOA."
Another fan pointed out the hypocrisy with, "So Dennis says Porsha can’t have a hot girl summer? But his ass was out cheating?! He needs to take his short ass somewhere and sit down... #RHOA."
"Dennis ain't in the position to be putting restrictions on Porsha! You done unleashed your hot dog all over Atlanta. LET PORSHA HAVE HER HOT GIRL SUMMER #RHOA," stated a fan.
Another fan commented, "Uhn-Uhn. I know Dennis ain't tryna check Porsha on her hot girl activities. Didn’t he cheat?! Niggras. #RHOA."
