NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey's friendship on 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' set tongues wagging. The duo’s fellow housewives as well as fans felt that Cynthia was being pushed around by NeNe, and didn’t like seeing Cynthia not standing up for herself. The last season's reunion was the final straw, following which the two friends went their separate ways.

During their time apart, both of them spoke scathingly about each other during interviews. This was also the time when Cynthia began getting closer to another housewife — Kenya Moore.

Kenya has a longstanding reputation for being a petty housewife who throws shade at everything. On the latest episode of 'RHOA', we saw NeNe confront Cynthia about calling her a "toxic friend". An emotional NeNe breaks down and asks her former friend for an explanation. Cynthia acknowledges that the word "toxic" may have been a bit too strong and explains her sentiment behind it.

She points out how NeNe is a great friend in general, but when the friendship goes south, she is the first person to tear down her former friend. This according to the Bailey Wine Cellar owner was what she meant by "toxic friend".

Fans were a bit amused after hearing Cynthia's explanation about "toxic friend", and couldn’t help but point out that the housewife is still friends with Kenya, who according to them is the definition of toxic.

A fan tweeted, "The way Cynthia defines toxic happens to describe her friend Kenya but okay girl. #RHOA." Another fan wrote, "If nene toxic so is Kenya #RHOA."

"If Cynthia thinks NeNe is toxic, she has got to think Kenya is toxic #RHOA," echoed another fan.

Several fans also pointed out how Cynthia has become a "toxic magnet" of sorts, thanks to her relationship choices.

A fan shared, "Let's be clear. Cynthia went from one toxic friend to another. Kenya threw that girl under the bus to Tanya and said it was because she was mad. Mike got a lot of baggage too. Cynthia you just a big ol toxicity magnet. #RHOA."

Another fan expressed, "Yes cynthia. Nene IS a toxic friend Kenya, too, is a toxic friend Stop attracting toxicity #RHOA."

"Cynthia replacing Nene with Kenya shows how toxic her friendship choices are & people pleasing behavior #RHOA," observed a fan. Another fan joked, "The tea is... Kenya fills that toxic friend spot in Cynthia's life when NeNe is away #RHOA."

"Cynthia — the toxic friend is Kenya. Stop overlooking the bs she is doing. How many times you want Kenya the Skunkmunk throw you under the bus???  #wethepeoplewanttoknow #RHOA," advised a fan.

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 12 airs every Sunday, at 8 pm ET/PT on Bravo.
