After nearly ruining Mike Hill's proposal to Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore is determined to seek redemption. To express her love and appreciation towards the couple, the housewife decided to throw a surprise engagement dinner party. She roped in fellow housewife Kandi Burruss to help her out. Since the former beauty queen isn't on the best terms with several cast members (read Porsha Williams, Marlo Hampton, Tanya Sam, etc), she figured that it would be best if Kandi could pretend to be the hostess, so that all the ladies would show up at the party.

Although Kandi wasn't entirely on board with it, she played along for Cynthia's sake, Kandi then announced to the ladies that she was throwing a party, and just mentioned that it was a formal black-tie event, and didn't mention any other details aside from requesting them all to wear only white outfits. Kandi remained tight-lipped despite the ladies trying to pry further information from her about the occasion.

The ladies then began speculating about the event, and the name of Joe Biden suddenly got thrown into the mix. Since the episode was filmed during the elections time, the cast members were convinced that Biden would be attending the party, in order to get the votes of Black women. When these rumors began doing rounds, Cynthia and her fiance, Mike Hill, got very excited and began getting ready to meet the presidential candidate.

After Cynthia and Mike finally arrived at the party's venue, they began looking around for Biden and were a bit disappointed to see that the Presidential candidate wasn't attending the party. Eventually, when they figured out that it was their surprise engagement dinner party, the couple was happy, but still bummed over missing an opportunity to meet Biden. Cynthia even revealed in her confessional that although she was happy that her friends were so thoughtful with the surprise, she would have still preferred meeting Biden.

Fans were amused over how Cynthia was upset about Biden's absence from the party. A fan tweeted, "Months later, Cynthia is on #WWHL talking about how pissed she was Biden wasn't at her engagement party. "He owes me a party." The entitlement is strong with this one. #RHOA." Another fan wrote, "I think Cynthia is upset that she wasn’t meeting President Biden #RHOA." "Cynthia was so disappointed. Lol did she really think she was going to an event with Joe Biden in attendance?! #RHOA," wondered a fan.

Several fans even began chuckling over why Cynthia ever believed that Biden would be attending 'RHOA' filming in the midst of a pandemic. A fan shared, "I’m still stuck on the fact that Cynthia Joe Biden would’ve been at an event that was filmed for #RHOA." "I know they're joking around about it, but seriously Cynth*a is still going on about thinking Joe Biden was actually going to roll up to a housewives engagement party during a pandemic ............ STILL @BravoTV #rhoa @BravoWWHL #wwhl," expressed a fan. "No like this lady really thought Biden was coming to some catering ROOM in Georgia....too grown #rhoa," pointed a fan.
