Selena Gomez's new Spanish project has finally got an official release date. The 'Taki Taki' singer took to her social media on Wednesday, March 3 to announce the news and share the tracklist. Regarded as a passion project by Selena Gomez, she has worked on it for years and it's coming out soon.

Additionally, Selena Gomez has shared several teasers, cover art, and previews of the EP. Titled 'Revelación', Selena Gomez's new EP is dropping this month, so here's all you need to know below.

Release date

'Revelación' is just around the corner, so, stans, mark your calendars for March 12.

Concept

'Revelación' will mark the singer's first EP written entirely in Spanish and follows her EP 'Selena × Votes', released on October 30, 2020. Selena has already released the lead single, ‘De Una Vez’, and ‘Baila Conmigo’, and her DJ Snake collab 'Selfish Love' is dropping on March 4. The EP features a total of seven songs.

In January, Selena announced the album's release with the tweet, "REVELACIÓN, my first EP in Spanish, is now available for preorder. I’m so excited to share this with you, and so proud of my heritage."

According to Billboard, Selena said that 'Revelación' was recorded almost entirely over Zoom due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic."‘De Una Vez’ was one of the first songs I worked on pretty early on," Gomez said, adding, "At the time, doing a Spanish project was just an idea being bounced around. Then the rest of the project just kind of happened really quickly and organically." "As for the process, we actually recorded almost the entire EP on Zoom due to Covid-19." Gomez credited rising Venezuelan singer-songwriter Elena Rose as one of the EP's "biggest" collaborators. "[Elena Rose is] an incredible female writer who I think really understands my heart and what I wanted to say in this project."

Other collaborators on the EP include Rauw Alejandro, Myke Towers, and DJ Snake.
