'Red Queen' Review: Prime Video's crime thriller offers a riveting blend of brilliance, wit and intrigue

MADRID, SPAIN: Prime Video's latest crime thriller 'Red Queen' (originally titled 'Reina Roja') revolves around, Antonia Scott (Vicky Luengo), a gifted woman with an IQ of 242, and her abilities have earned her a coveted spot within the secretive project dedicated to solving the most intricate cases discreetly. However, her personal trauma made her quit the job.

Alongside her is Jon Gutierrez (Hovik Keuchkerian), a charming, homosexual police officer, who is suspended, and about to face criminal charges.

He is given a chance of redemption as he is assigned a difficult task to get Antonia out of seclusion to investigate a high-profile murder followed by a kidnapping case.

Together, they must navigate the complexities of their partnership while solving the sinister schemes of the unknown criminal.

Antonia and Jon make an unlikely yet effective duo. Despite Jon's past troubles and Antonia's self-imposed isolation following a personal trauma, fate brings them together to tackle a series of chilling crimes.

As they dive into a world of ritualistic killings and high-stakes abduction, Antonia and Jon form a bond strengthened by their differences.
