‘Real Housewives of Dallas’: Fans convinced that Mamma Dee is a terrible mother disguised as a smart businesswoman

Fans call out RHOD housewife D'Andra Simmons' mother Mamma Dee for being a "terrible mother".

We are no strangers to Mamma Dee and her daughter D’Andra’s toxic relationship. We have seen the matriarch of the Simmons family make her daughter D’Andra jump through hoops just for some kicks. But this time around we can’t help but feel she went a little too far.

After a lot of fights and begging her mother -- D’Andra finally managed to inherit the family business. Just as we were beginning to feel happy for the housewife, bad news was waiting just around the corner. The reality star clearly didn’t do any due diligence as she took over the company when it was running a loss. Mamma Dee, the shrewd businesswoman that she is, cleverly withheld this piece of crucial information from her daughter and dumped the sinking ship -- that is their almost bankrupt business -- on her daughter and walked away with a nice fat yearly allowance.

Poor D’Andra has been running from pillar to post trying to save her company. We saw her take a pay cut and meeting fellow housewife Stephanie Hollman’s husband Travis Hollman for some business advice. Finally the housewife met her mother to explain the company's situation, she was trying to get some help from her mother, but Mamma Dee turned her away saying she doesn’t invest in anybody's business let alone one running at a loss and belittles all her daughter’s plans to keep the company afloat.

After watching this uncomfortable exchange between the mother and daughter duo, we couldn’t help but notice what a terrible mother Mamma Dee is and feel sorry for D’Andra. Fans too took to their social media to share their opinion. A fan tweeted “@dandrasimmons your mother is TERRIBLE! I’ve seen TV shows like “Women who Snapped” too similar to your situation. She is evil. Cold-hearted and so dirty mean! I’m so sorry for you. Your Dad is disgusted in her I’m sure! #rhod @BravoTV”. Another fan wrote, “Nevertheless, Momma Dee hot-potatoed a failing company to @dandrasimmons and now doesn’t want to help her get it back up and running? Disappointing. #RHOD”.

One angry fan shared, “I Think D’andras Mother is a Bitch! There’s No Reason To Watch Your Kid Struggle when you can easily Fix her problems! AND To Belittle Her while she’s at It! FK Her! #RHOD”. Most fans felt that Mamma Dee’s behaviour and attitude towards D’Andra was terrible and uncalled for. “I’m sorry but to give your daughter a company that you knew was going under and didn’t tell her is pretty effed up!! Not good Momma Dee!! #RHOD”. “Momma Dee is awful!! What a horrible mother! She truly is deplorable! #RHOD”, wrote another fan.
