Emmys 2020 is turning out to be one hilarious affair. It’s not just the wins that got the fans talking but even the losses have grabbed eyeballs. After ‘Schitt's Creek’ star Eugene Levy won the award for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series, fellow nominee Ramy Youssef captured a video of one of the presenters waving outside his window and leaving his house with an Emmy in hand, that the actor lost!  He posted the video on his Instagram and captioned, "When u lose the Emmy," and got the Internet rolling with laughter. He also posted it on Twitter as well, much to the amusement of fans.

While it was an awkward moment to capture but it turned out that the actor, despite losing the award won many fans. The whole incident happened as this year’s Emmys has gone into virtual mode with trophies being presented to winners at their homes. After Youssef put out his video of loss, many fans loved his sportsman spirit. Others called the video 'savage' and joked about it.

Well, those who physically presented the awards to the celebrities were also dragged on Twitter especially because of their 'hazmat suits'. “They have workers in ridiculous Emmy themed hazmat suits at each house ready to give them the awards if they win / if they lose they just leave with the award awkwardly," asked one viewer. Others wondered where the Emmy goes if a celebrity does not win. “They really bring the Emmy RIGHT there to your house and then walk away if you lose? Doesn't that mean they need like 5 extra Emma's? Where do those go back to?”

Coming to Youssef's video, fans had a good laugh. Some lauded the actor for recording it. “What matters the most is the message you are sending.
your art is a breath of fresh air. can't wait for the third season.” A user joked, “Oh no. If that was me I woulda got my trophy. That little alien person wouldn't have left my property with that #Emmy hardware. I woulda been after 'em like..” Another concurred, “That's pretty savage.”
