'Hyperdrive': Release, plot, cast and everything you need to know about the new fast and furious series on Netflix

Racers from across the world are coming down to show off their driving skills on the most challenging obstacle course ever. Catch the action from August 21.

'Hyperdrive' is a new racing-themed series and is featuring for the first time on Netflix. The series will see a range of racers from across the globe. It is a tournament-based series where drivers will compete in one of the biggest automotive obstacle courses ever made. The series will target the racer fan base of Netflix giving them a fast and furious live experience in the world of racing.

The series is premiering on August 21 on Netflix. 

Plot 

Racers from across the world are coming down to show off their driving skills on the most challenging obstacle course ever. The producer, Chris Cowan, says the show will be a culmination of 'American Ninja Warrior meets Fast and Furious.' The series will be featuring elite race car drivers. The hosts of the show for Season 1 are Rutledge Wood, Mike Hill, Michael Bisping, and Lindsay Czarniak

Rutledge Wood

He is an auto racing analyst employed by NBC. He was one of three hosts for History channel's Top Gear along with Adam Ferrara and Tanner Foust, which premiered on November 21, 2010. He also was, in 2013, one of the hosts for NASCAR Trackside. He now will be a part of this new Netflix racing series. 

Mike Hill 

James Michael, commonly known as Mike Hill, is a sportscaster currently with Fox Sports 1. He will also be a part of this new adrenaline rushing racecar series. 

Micheal Bisping 

Michael Bisping will be starring in 'Hyperdrive' ( IMDB)

He is an English actor, commentator, sports analyst and also a former martial artist who competed in the Middleweight division of the UFC.
