'Big Mouth' Season 3: 'Queer Eye' crossover could feature a makeover by the Fabulous 5
They didn't explicitly mention 'Big Mouth' or "crossover", but we think we might know exactly what is set to come our way.
Netflix has announced that its beloved animated comedy 'Big Mouth' will be returning for its season 3 on October 4, 2019, a first of the three seasons that the streaming service has announced for the series. And if that wasn't enough exciting news, it now looks like the fabulous hosts of the heart-warming makeover Netflix series 'Queer Eye' are doing a crossover with 'Big Mouth'.
The Makeover Gurus took to Instagram to share some very specific drawings of themselves without divulging too much information - or any beyond that, for that matter. The style of the drawing is very familiar for fans of 'Big Mouth'. "I've never looked better," Tan France captioned the image he shared on his Instagram page. Although he didn't specifically mention 'Big Mouth' or that there is a possible crossover in season 3, fans have been losing it in the comment section.
"If you guys are on Big Mouth, I’m going to die. It would be too perfect," said one fan. "I am so beyond excited for this crossover!" exclaimed an excited fan. Others "simply cannot believe" that their two favourite shows are coming together even if it will be for one episode.
Antoni Porowski shared his cartoon image on Instagram with the caption, "When the cartoonist joked that I have a big head I thought they were kidding." Bobby Berk and Jonathan Van Ness both shared their respective character drawings but didn't share anything beyond that barring a few emojis.
Does this mean that the new season might feature a character makeover? Well, who is it on 'Big Mouth' that requires a makeover stat?
Definitely Coach Steve. Over the last two seasons and a Valentine special movie, we see that things have been moving extremely slow, and rather weird, with Coach Steve. He is the perfect candidate for a makeover.
We are not the only ones to hope Coach Steve gets a makeover, after all, we want the best for him. Fans have also inundated the comment sections of the Fabulous 5 with requests for a makeover for the character. "Please tell me they’re going to makeover Coach Steve," said one fan in the comment section. Others are now concerned with the most important question of all: "When is the trailer going to be released?" asked one fan pointedly. Since a lot of this is under wraps, it only makes things more exciting!
'Big Mouth' is set to return to Netflix on October 4, 2019. In the meanwhile, 'Queer Eye' is set to release their Japan special on Netflix titled 'Queer Eye: We're in Japan' on November 1.
