'Project Runway' Season 18: Meet 16 contestants who will battle it out to be the fashion champion

Host Karlie Kloss along with mentor Christian Siriano and judges Nina Garcia, Brandon Maxwell and Elaine Welteroth will return for Season 18 on December 5.

Get ready for Season 18 as Bravo's 'Project Runway' gang is back in the workroom.

Premiering on our screens on December 5, 2019, host Karlie Kloss along with mentor Christian Siriano and judges Nina Garcia, Brandon Maxwell, and Elaine Welteroth will return for Season 18 of the Emmy Award-winning series that will feature a whole new set of contestants and celebrity judges. 

The guest judges this season includes Laverne Cox, Kiernan Shipka, Rachel Brosnahan, Leslie Jones, Cyndi Lauper, Lindsey Vonn, Thom Browne, Ashley Longshore, Marni Senofonte, and many more over the course of next few weeks as the series goes on. 

While there is little to no time left for the series to premiere, let's take a look at the 16 contestants who will battle it out to be the fashion champion. 

Brittany Allen

Brittany Allen is a 29-year-old designer who hails from Austin Texas. Her designs have been featured at Austin Fashion Week 2017-2019, 2017 Houston Fashion Week, and September 2019 Style Fashion Week, along with WWD and Footwear News. 

Asma Bibi

Asma Bibi is a 30-year-old designer who hails from Athens, GA. Her designs have been featured in the Fall 2018 Hijab Fest, the CLF Conference in Atlanta, and New York Fashion Week. 

Chelsey Carter

Chelsey Carter is a 30-year-old designer from Chicago, IL. She has featured her designs in Vogue Italia and many other magazines such as Verluxe, Circus, and Timeout Chicago. SZA and Chance the Rapper have also been seen donning her jackets. 

Jenn Charkow

Jenn Charkow is a 41-year-old designer from Seattle, WA. Her designs have been featured in Seattle Magazine in 2012 and presented at FashioNXT 2018. Jenn was also in the Independent Designer Runway Show for Bellevue Collection in 2017. 

Victoria Cocieru

Victoria Cocieru is a 27-year-old designer from Moldova. Her designs have been featured on major fashion shows around the world that include Culture Trip. Victoria has also designers outfits for  E! Patricia Zavala and America’s Next Top Model’s Rio Summers.

Alan Gonzalez

Alan Gonzalez is a 24-year-old designer from Houston, Texas. Alan has showcased his collections in Austin Fashion Week 2019, Fashion X Houston 2016-2018, Fashion X Dallas, and Fashion HTX. 

Marquise Foster

Marquise Foster is a 30-year-old designer from Brooklyn, NY. His designs have been featured in NYFW 2017 and 2018 and at Philly Fashion Week 2018, and has been seen in magazines such as Desnudo, Desnudo Homme, 7Hues, Circle, and Out. Marquise has also created outfits for celebrities like Indya Moore and Dominique Jackson.

Sergio Guadarrama

Sergio Guadarrama is a 36-year-old designer who hails from Austin, TX. He has appeared in various magazines like Vogue, Vogue Italia, People Magazine, Forbes, and New York Magazine. Sergio has also created outfits for celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Amber Rose, and Indya Moore. He has also designed Billy Porter’s 2019 Tony Awards show-stopping red-carpet look.

Dayoung Kim

Dayoung Kim is a 37-year-old designer who hails from Portland, OR. She launched her own line known as  MOIRAI in 2016. One day Dayoung hopes to be a part of New York, London, or Milan Fashion Week.

Shavi Lewis

Shavi Lewis is a 33-year-old designer from Hillside, NJ. Shavi's creations have been seen on the Emmy red carpets and in Season 2 of Netflix's Pose on Diva Davanna Booker. He also created designs for celebrities like Leah Janae and Cynthia Bailey, and at the Bermuda Fashion Festival

Geoffrey Mac

Geoffrey Mac is a 42-year-old designer from Brooklyn, NY. Geoffrey once designed 24 garments in four days for Lady Gaga’s dancers. His designs have appeared on shows that include 2018 Dark Collection, Feb 2016 Sonar, and February 2016 Ice Cream Truck Underwear.

Delvin McCray

Delvin McCray is a 26-year-old designer from Chicago, IL. Delvin's designs have been featured in British Vogue in the February, March, and April 2019 issues. He also competed in the Driehaus Design Initiative Competition in 2016. One amongst his proudest moments was to have his designs featured in Barbara Bates’ fashion show.  

Tyler Neasloney

Tyler Neasloney is a 29-year-old designer who hails from Jersey City, NJ. In January 2019, he launched his own brand, 'Tyler Neasloney New York'. When Tyler isn't busy working, he helps lead events for Ali Forney Center, a non-profit that shelters and serves homeless LGBTQ+ youths in New York City. 

Veronica Sheaffer

Veronica Sheaffer is a 39-year-old designer who hails from Chicago, IL. Currently, under her own label, Veronica Sheaffer designs bridal gowns, special occasion looks, and elevated ready-to-wear pieces. She has had her designs feature in Elle China and The Cut. 

Melanie Trygg

Melanie Trygg is a 28-year-old designer who hails from Eastsound, WA. After her year of training, Melanie launched her own line, KLÄD Apparel. Melanie has had her work featured in various fashion shows that include AMCO NYC Fall Fashion Week Runway Presentation during New York Fashion Week in 2017, Portland Fashion Week, Bellevue Fashion Week’s Independent Designer Runway Show in 2014, as well as in Seattle Met Magazine June 2014.

Nancy Volpe-Beringer

Nancy Volpe-Beringer is a 64-year-old designer who hails from Philadelphia, PA. She has had her designs often featured in Philadelphia Fashion Week and regularly in Philadelphia’s iconic fashion concept store, Joan Shepp. Apart from that, her outfits have been featured in the March 2019 Wharton Fashion Show, December 2018 Joan Shepp Holiday Pop Up, and the October 2018 Libertae Fashion Show.
