Christmas is a few days away and it would only be fair for TV shows to get on with the festive cheer. 'Project Runway' is no exception. In tonight's episode, we see Christian Siriano add an interesting holiday twist to the game by throwing the designers the "unconventional materials" challenge. Think cranberries, garland, ornaments, and twigs. But, how do you make a full-blown wearable with just that?

'Project Runway' Episode 3 is going to take an interesting turn with contestants battling it out in the workroom to create their best pieces using the most off-beat, holiday-ish materials. But, there's going to be enough and more roadblocks along the way. Alan Gonzalez, the Mexico-born Houston-based designer, is seen having a tough time trying to get his perfect number out. He is aiming for some skin show for his latest masterpiece, only to realize he doesn't have enough cloth to cover up the model's breasts leaving it totally undone on the sides. "Oh, that's a lot of boob. It's a wrong holiday party," he exclaimed.

Meanwhile, Brittany Allen can be seen having a meltdown with no skirt put together and still deciding over the fabric, pattern, and color. This is very unlike her considering how she has been acing every challenge in every episode. While she secretly hoped other contestants are having a worse day than her, Nancy Volpe-Beringer could be seen driving everyone nuts with her drilling, cutting, thrashing of materials.  But one could excuse her given just how spirited she is. Nancy left her career when she was 58 to pursue a master's course in fashion. There's been no looking back for her ever since. Nancy has been working under her label and her collections have been shown at multiple fashion shows. The 64-year-old is turning out to be quite the competition on the show and her work is being consistently loved by the judges.

'Project Runway' Season 18 has been unpredictable right from the start. It's inclusive, interesting, and every episode is a fresh challenge that tests every designer's skills to the hilt.

Catch an all-new episode of 'Project Runway' Season 18 tonight on Bravo TV.
