'Project Runway' workroom is already a high-stress environment with challenges getting stiffer by the minute.

In this week's episode, we'll see makers introduce 1980s superstar-singer, Cyndi Lauper, as the guest judge. Designers will be tasked to create outfits that represent the fashion of the era. The twist here is they'd have work in teams, and history suggests the success rate hasn't been great. The maiden episode had the judges group designers in teams of two and all of the teams had a tough time understanding each other's taste, aesthetic and the idea of style.

In the preview, we see history repeating itself with everyone starting to lose it and not being able to agree upon a fabric or even the color of a thread. This is quite the reason to get worried because if the initial rhythm is out of whack, how will the team go about creating mini collections for the star singer? Adding fuel to the fire will be Christian Siriano, who'd be seen pressing the panic button after he admits to having found the choice of fabric to be "crazy."

However, the highlight of the episode is going to be Geoffrey Mac elaborating on his difficult past and how Cyndi helped her breeze through most of his growing up years. He cried as he narrated how he was once hit in the face with a baseball for being 'girly' and it took him a lot to finally accept his uniqueness and celebrate the person he really was instead of being scared and living in a shell.

Meanwhile, fans can barely contain their excitement about Cyndi being part of the show.

"Ok but the most important thing about #ProjectRunway is not the Kushner quip but the fact Cyndi Lauper is on the next ep," a fan wrote.

While another posted: "I just had an 80's girl squee moment! Cyndi Lauper!! I am just going to ignore the team challenge aspect on it... (Which I hate...) #ProjectRunway."

"Oh boy teams!! #ProjectRunway #Bravo #BravoProjectRunway and the amazing Cyndi Lauper See y'all next time!," a viewer tweeted.
