Roswell

When Liz Ortecho returns to her tiny hometown, Roswell, she realizes that Trump's wave of discrimination against the Mexicans has even reached there. She immediately becomes a part of victimization as she is shot by one of the haters on her very first night in town. As the daughter of an undocumented immigrant, Liz tries to help her father by re-investigating into her sister, Rosa's, death. Liz also meets up with a few old faces, such as her best friend, Maria De Lucca, her teenage hook up, Kyle, and lastly her childhood lover, Max, who just so happens to be an alien. Every episode sees Liz discovering some clue that leads her towards Max, but at the same time, she keeps his secret concealed fearing that he would be imprisoned by the government.
