'My life was everywhere': Prince Harry and Meghan Markle docu is TOTAL WAR against British tabloids
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took a dig at British media houses in their new Netflix docuseries, recounting their bitter experience especially with tabloids when they left the royal family. Three episodes of the much anticipated Netflix docuseries 'Harry & Meghan' were dropped on Thursday, December 8, and as expected triggered many headlines.
The series has six parts and covers the couple's relationship from their early courtship to their decision to step back as working members of the British royal family and their subsequent activities. The series will also include interviews with family, friends, historians, and journalists. However, in a video diary shown in the first episode and recorded shortly after the pair finished their final royal duties in March 2020, Harry was seen wondering "how did they end up" here. British tabloids intensely covered the pair's every move, with some giving it a racial slant as Meghan is biracial.

According to CNN, in the first few minutes of the Netflix documetary series, Harry is seen questioning his life. He says, “It’s really hard to look back on it now and go, what on earth happened? Like how did we end up here?” He further said he became “genuinely concerned for the safety of my family.”
Buckingham Palace is unlikely to respond to the series, but tensions haven't abated between Harry and his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William.
Harry took a pot shot at the British media within the first few minutes. “No one knows that full truth. We know the full truth, the institution knows the full truth, and the media knows the full truth because they’ve been in on it,” Harry said.
“My face was everywhere, my life was everywhere, tabloids had taken over everything,” Meghan added of her early experiences with the British press.
Harry continued, “I accept that there will be people around the world who fundamentally disagree with what I’ve done and how I’ve done it. But I knew that I had to do everything I could to protect my family, especially after what happened to my mum."
The second part of three episodes is slated to be released on December 15.
