The Fraser family is in trouble and in dire need of an intervention. The trauma of Brianna Randall Fraser's horrific violation had a ripple effect on the newly reunited family, and the dealings of the news of her brutal rape have been handled differently by the different people who love her.
However, it is this difference of handling of the situation that has caused a major rift in the Fraser household, starting right from Jamie Fraser, who mercilessly beat up Roger MacKenzie, thinking he raped Brianna, as he was misinformed by Lizzie, who herself thinks Roger was the one to harm her mistress.
