Oscars 2020: Kelly Ripa stuns in black gown with full-body makeup, rocks 80s prom look with Mark Consuelos
'Live with Kelly and Ryan' host Kelly Ripa graced the 92nd Academy Awards red carpet with husband Mark Consuelos clad in a beautiful black gown, as one of Hollywood’s most-adored couple chose to recreate the 80s prom look.
Ripa's outfit for the night is Christian Siriano's design. She let her hair loose but covered her entire body with makeup.
At one point when she met with her on-screen husband Ryan Seacrest, while Consuelos stood by her side, Ripa jokingly said, "I’m wearing full-body makeup and I don’t want to get it on you and you, my two husbands."
A few hours before making an appearance at Oscars 2020, she shared a throwback picture from last year's Academy Awards.
She captioned it, "Prom with #daddy One year ago. #oscars."
Reacting to Ripa and Consuelos's look from tonight, some said on Twitter, "Not sorry but mark consuelos and kelly ripa are objectively the hottest fucking couple in hollywood."
The duo seems to have managed to set relationship goals yet again, as one of their fans tweeted, "Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have low-key been the most physically perfect couple in Hollywood for 20 years #Oscars."
Ripa spent the better half of her day getting hair and makeup done prior to the big night, while Consuelos took a nap on a nearby couch. She documented hers and Consuelos’s preparations for the 92nd Academy Awards on her Instagram account.
Ripa concluded her little chat with her co-star Seacrest on the red carpet stating, "I'll see you in three more minutes for another show", as they will be hosting a post-show recap.
The couple celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary recently. During her show 'Live with Kelly and Ryan', she revealed that Consuelos surprised her with a bouquet of roses.
"He brought me five roses. I'm really not sure the significance of the five roses. I didn't want to split hairs, but I thought it was really sweet," Ripa said.
