LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent interview with Betches, 'The Bachelor' star Joey Graziadei found himself in a humorous situation when presented with images of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ruth Bader Ginsburg while playing the game 'How Online are you.' Much to everyone's surprise, he mistakenly labeled Gypsy Rose Blanchard as Ruth Bader Ginsburg. This unexpected mix-up became the talk of the internet, and social media platforms were flooded with memes and jokes poking fun at Joey's confusion.

What added to the online chatter was the disbelief expressed by many netizens that Joey, a reality star, seemed unfamiliar with Ruth Bader Ginsburg – a widely recognized figure known for her impactful activism and authorship. When a picture of Gypsy, who spent eight years in prison, was shown to the reality star, his immediate response was "I do know who this person is!” Is it Ruth?” he asked. “It’s Jinsburg or Ginsburg or something like that. Am I wrong?” he added.

Although Joey was halfway right, he did know what Gypsy was convicted for but didn't know her name and confused it with Bader Ginsburg. "I know that she had something happen where she went to jail because of her mom,” he said. But the internet couldn't quite wrap their head around Joey's confusion, as many called him out on Instagram. "This is so disappointing," a user commented. "This is terribly unfunny," added another. "This guy doesn't know who RBG is what a Scrub," wrote a user.

"And yet, 25 women are clamoring over this? We have to do better, ladies," wrote another user. "Now I hate him," said a used. Others thought he was instantly unattractive for his mistake. "Awwww noo Immediate turn off!." "Interesting how quickly someone can become unattractive... yikes," added another. "Biggest ick," said another.

Why was Gypsy Rose convicted?

Gypsy Rose Blanchard, who pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in 2015, has recently been released on parole from the Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri. Her conviction stems from a chilling case where she conspired with her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, to murder her abusive mother, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard.

In 2016, Gypsy Rose received a 10-year prison sentence for her role in the tragic event. The motive behind the murder was rooted in Gypsy Rose's experiences of enduring severe abuse by her mother. Fed up with her abusive situation and influenced by her mother's lies about her age, 23-year-old Gypsy Rose convinced her boyfriend, Nick Godejohn from Big Bend, Wisconsin, to travel to her home in Springfield, Missouri. Her intention was for him to murder her mother and help her escape from the oppressive environment she had been living in.

During her trial, she testified, revealing that she not only suggested the idea of Godejohn killing Dee Dee to end the abuse but also contemplated an alternative plan. Gypsy Rose considered the possibility of getting pregnant by Godejohn, hoping that carrying his child would compel her mother to accept him.
