LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Teen Wolf' is back and this time in a form of a movie. The Paramount Plus feature 'Teen Wolf: The Movie' will be a continuation of the MTV series 'Teen Wolf' (2011 to 2017). During the promotion of the film, the movie's star Tyler Posey opened up about his love for the show and added that he had been waiting for the next chapter to happen for a long time.   

'Teen Wolf: The Movie' is set to release exclusively on Paramount Plus and it sees most of the cast members from the series returning for the film. The cast of the film includes Tyler Posey as Scott McCall, Crystal Reed as Allison Argent, Holland Roden as Lydia Martin, Tyler Hoechlin as Derek Hale and Shelley Hennig as Malia Tate. Dylan O'Brien will not be reprising his role as Stiles Stilinski in this upcoming feature. Russell Mulcahy is the director of this film.

During a recent interview with 'Entertainment Tonight', Tyler Posey opened up about the upcoming movie and his hope for this franchise. Posey recalled that he has been wanting to bring the 'Teen Wolf' together for a while now and has been vocal about it on social media. After the notion of it died, Posey got a call from writer Jeff Davis about the movie and without skipping a beat, he says that he agreed to the movie. Posey also added that he almost cut Jeff off mid-sentence while he was telling the news. Posey further went on to say that he was absolutely ready for the movie. He said that the character and show are very close to his heart and he would never let that die.        

"I was so ready to do it. I had been wanting this to happen for so long and I have never let the character die and the show die, and it's so close to my heart," the actor added.



 

'Teen Wolf' is a show set in the Beacon Hills, where supernatural phenomenon occurs. And when one of the ordinary students Scott McCall gets bitten by an Alpha Werewolf, he becomes one and he along with his pack tries to protect the town from danger. 

'Teen Wolf: The Movie' will be available to stream at Paramount Plus from January 26.
