Blind dates can either be terrific or terrible, depending on how you choose to look at it. Netflix's latest reality show 'Dating Around' sets a single on blind dates with a bunch of people. At the end of the dates, the single must decide if any of the dates they went on is worthy of a second date. Following the smashing success of Season 1, the second season is finally here.

Episode 2 of 'Dating Around' features a nerdy professor from New Orleans University. Ben, a computer science professor comes on the show hoping to find his lady love, After having tough luck in the dating world, Ben finally resorted to going on a series of blind dates to see if he can find a girl for himself. Ben goes on six dates, and all his dates were amazing women from very diverse backgrounds.

He instantly finds a point of connection with each of his dates. Unfortunately, not all of the connections turn out to be as good as he would have hoped for. One of his dates, Stephanie, turns out to be a student at the same university he teaches in. Thankfully, he wasn't her professor. While Ben teaches Computer Science, Stephanies attends school for the Mechanical Engineering course.

However, as soon as he learns of Stephanie attending the same university, he instantly gets wary of pursuing things further with her. He gets extremely awkward and begins wondering if it is even appropriate for him to be going on a date with a student. Needless to say, the atmosphere of the date goes from flirty and playful to uncomfortable and quiet. They quietly finish their dinner, and head out of the restaurant.

As soon as they step out, Ben tells Stephanie that he is very uncomfortable with the situation, although he would like to see her around. He reassures her by saying that if he gets the green-light from the HR department of the university, he would love to get to know her better. Stephanies agrees with him and walks away saying that she will be seeing him soon.

'Dating Around' is all set to premiere on Friday, June 12, on Netflix.
