'Dating Around': Brandon doesn't pick Ronald for a second date despite electric chemistry, leaves fans upset
Even a dead person can sense the chemistry between Brandon and Ronald. Although the duo met a few years ago, nothing materialized between them. They once again crossed paths when they were set up on a blind date on 'Dating Around' Season 2. There was no awkward silence during their date. The conversations flowed smoothly, as the two began catching up with each other. After taking a few digs at each other, Brandon and Ronald began discussing their interests and previous relationships.
Their interaction was so effortless and it almost seemed like Brandon had found the perfect person to pick for his second date until Ronald revealed his commitment phobia. Ronald tells Brandon that he isn't comfortable revealing his true self to anybody until he is extremely cozy around them. Brandon feels puzzled and asks Ronald how he would form a connection with anyone without revealing his true self. Ronald then explains how he fears getting hurt if he reveals himself, and to avoid getting hurt he would rather protect himself.
At the end of their date, when they share a kiss, everybody could see the sparks flying between the two. Despite all the chemistry and sparks, Brandon picked Jason, another blind date of his, for a second date instead of Ronald. Fans were unhappy to see Brandon picking somebody else for a date instead of Ronald. A fan tweeted, "I don't even have to finish the episode! I know Brandon and Ronald are gonna end up together. Their chemistry is #DatingAround." Another said, "That kiss between Brandon and Ronald whoo chile! That was spicy... #DatingAround." Another fan said, "Omg no way! I was wrong. Brandon and Ronald were so good together! #DatingAround." One more wrote, "Brandon and Ronald already arguing like a couple #DatingAround."
'Dating Around' follows six singles, who go on multiple blind dates to decide if they can go on a second date with any of them. Each episode follows a single, who goes on blind dates with five different people and at the end picks one of the dates to go on a second date with. The contestant can also choose to leave alone and continue looking for a person worthy of a second date.
