Chenle of NCT Dream is currently getting a lot of love from NCTzens after he received a comment which did not sit right with NCT fans. NCTzens took it to social media to trend ‘You don’t need to diet Chenle’ to express there is absolutely nothing wrong with him. Here’s what happened that sparked outrage among NCTzens.

NCT Chenle is Akdong Seoul’s current Radio DJ where he received a comment which made NCT Dreams fans outraged and also concerned about the K-pop singer’s wellbeing. According to the listeners, Chenle received a comment that said, ‘just now someone said I gained weight.. I (will) start diet from tomorrow. Originally I eat two meals a day but from tomorrow, one meal a day.”

Chenle you don’t need to diet

The K-pop fans, who tuned into Chenle’s show, expressed their anger at the radio listener’s comment and took it to Twitter to show solidarity. 'Chenle you don’t need to diet' started trending as NCT fans started to pour all of their support for SM Entertainment’s K-pop star.



 

A fan said, “You are beautiful and strong. All we want is you to take care of your body and stay safe. Please eat all the wonderful food you like we love you. #YouDontNeedToDietChenle” while another said, “Baby, ur 1 of the most beautiful boys I've ever seen; perfect just 4 bein yourself. NCTzen r by your side no matter what; if not, they r not your fans!! Please, don't listen to malicious comments!”

Another said, “Chenle you are beautiful inside and out, please don’t change anything about yourself because we love you just as you are. #youdontneedtodietchenle”. A similar tweet read, “the way chenle has always been one of the realest and most confident members of NCT... always ready to show us his imperfections (that make him prettier) and to encourage us and now people try to tear him down…”



 



 



 



 

Fans have also urged to stop body-shaming any K-pop star as it contributes to mental health issues and so much more. A fan said, “this is degrading chenle and other idols' mental health i'm so ready to fight!” Another urged, “No no u guys must stop BODY SHAMING. chenle needs to stay healthy pls think that.”
