'NCIS: Los Angeles' Season 12 Episode 3: Who's the 'Angry Karen'? Densi's gnome violence solution thrills fans
Spoilers for Season 12 Episode 3: 'Angry Karen'
The most recent episode of tonight's (November 22) 'NCIS: Los Angeles' is titled 'Angry Karen'. Which led to a lot of confusion amongst fans because there were no visibly Karne-named characters on the episode. So who is this "Angry Karen" that the third episode of Season 12 revolves around? And what exactly is a "gnome violent" option of taking out perps that Special Agent Kensi Blye came up with to deal with said Karen? Scroll down to find it all out!
According to the official synopsis of Season 12, Episode 3 titled 'Angry Karen', "Nell sends Sam to meet an informant who plans to blow the whistle on a military secret; Kensi and Deeks debate whether or not to buy their first house." When we meet this informant, he is currently hospitalized with disguised people trying to kill him. Turns out, this man, and his friend accountant had figured out a discrepancy amidst the naval officer's base where their supervisors were trying to pass off non-existing monetary compensation for missiles that never existed. And as for the "Angry Karen" in the situation, it's the non-existing missile's name. Yeah, the writers are getting that creative with the times.
Hilarious as it might be, what was even funnier was Kensi taking down a perp related to the case. That definitely got the fans' attention as the guy was shooting back at Kensi and Fatima using a gun, and tried escaping from the back of the venue they were searching, but he wasn't quick enough for Kensi. As our Speical Agent Blye was waiting around the front of the house, she knocked out the runner using nothing but a garden gnome - one swing and swoosh, the perp was flat on the ground. This is what Kensi labeled as the "gnome violent" way to go about catching the perp, and fans are losing it at the joke, claiming she couldn't have been more Deeks' wife than this.
"Gnome violence solution. That's totally something Deeks would say. Maybe he's finally rubbing off on Kensi lol," tweeted a fan. "Agent Bly opted for the gnome violence solution. Guess you had to be there," laughed another. Bringing back the absent Hetty's memories, a fan also noted: "This show really loves their gnomes. Just don’t remind Hetty." Others just laughed at how "That poor garden gnome! He didn't ask to be swung around like that!"
