Fans of NBC's popular trivia game show, 'The Weakest Link' usually enjoy watching the show's contestants fumble while answering the host Jane Lynch's questions. However, the latest episode of the game show featured eight contestants who managed to leave the fans all riled up with their inaccurate responses to some rather simple questions.

In the early rounds of the games, a contestant failed to answer the question on which popular pop celebrity trademarked the slang "okurr". In another round, a contestant fumbled when he had to spell out the word 'respect'. Finally, two contestants made it to the final round -- Erica and Aaron. While Erica started off on a weak note, she eventually became a strong link, unfortunately, Aaron was the weak link throughout the game, as he couldn't answer any of the questions posed to him correctly.

The two players were playing for the prize money of $44,500, which the contestants managed to amass over several rounds of the game. In the final round, with no time limit, the contestants can leisurely think and give their responses. So, when Jane Lynch began asking Erica and Aaron trivia questions, both of them failed to answer four out of the five questions wrongly.

Before reading out the fifth question, Jane announced that whoever would get the answer to the question would be the winner. Erica, unfortunately, failed to give the right response. But in a surprise turn of events, Aaron finally managed to give his first correct answer on the show and bagged the prize money. When fans saw how Aaron finally won the episode, they weren't pleased and declared that he just won out of sheer luck.

A fan tweeted, "Aaron literally won by chance and chance alone. #WeakestLink." Another fan wrote, "Aaron winning is 2020 in a nutshell. #WeakestLink." "i want to be mad at Aaron but really I admire him because it takes considerable dedication to be that stupid #WeakestLink," commented an annoyed fan.

Many fans also declared the episode as the "worst episode" ever on the game show. A fan shared, "And that’s a WRAP. worst episode this month #WeakestLink." "That was THEE worst episode! I thought Erica was smart for taking on Aaron because he was literally the #WeakestLink the entire show but both of them turned out to be the #MissingLink Dude got one right answer and won," pointed a fan. "That was the worst episode of a game show I think I’ve ever seen. I think I lost brain cells. #WeakestLink," expressed a fan.
