Nicole Moody had been living a normal life until one day she fell on her front porch and injured her leg. She was shocked to see that the incident had left her leg moving inwards. Describing her current situation, Nicole revealed that she felt like the wicked witch of the Oz whose leg turn inwards when a house falls on her.

Nicole admitted that it had not been easy living with her leg as it was painful. To make things worse, she had an open wound on the left side of her leg. When Dr Sarah Haller first looked at it, she was shocked and feared that the wound could cause her bigger damage. Seeing how the wound was open, Dr Haller revealed that there were chances of the infection going into her bloodstream and turning it into a life and death situation. She admitted that it was a severe case as Nicole had legs that were deformed and also had an open wound.

Nicole revealed that her feet would often smell disgusting and could be compared to the "smell of death". After spending years with it, Nicole admitted that she wanted a life without pain. To understand her situation better, Dr Haller asked Nicole to stand up and take a walk. Nicole said she used the support of a stick to walk around. Seeing how her feet looked, Dr Haller admitted that they were shaped like a golf club. She was also surprised to see that Nicole was putting all her pressure on the ankle in a bid to walk. Dr Haller said that Nicole was at risk of damaging her ankle as well.

Nicole pointed out that she could hear her bones crack as she walked. Seeing how serious Nicole's condition was, Dr Haller decided to help her out. She told Nicole that it was possible for her to get her feet back with the help of surgery. She further pointed out that Nicole would have to take a neurological exam to get a better idea of what her situation is.

Nicole was willing to take the test as she wanted things to get better. Dr Haller promised to see her once the Covid-19 situation was better.

'My Feet Are Killing Me' airs on Thursdays at 10.30 pm ET on TLC.
