'My Feet Are Killing Me' is back with another season and even a pandemic cannot stop these doctors. In the latest episode (September 10), Dr Ebonie Vincent met Cortney Cox who had been suffering from immense pain due in her feet. Speaking about her condition, Cortney revealed that when she was born it was noted that her one side of the body is bigger than the other.

Due to this, her right leg was bigger and she would often have a hard time walking. Taking an example from her everyday life, Cortney revealed that she could barely walk to the grocery store or take her dogs for a walk. Since the pain had become unbearable, it was slowly affecting her life and taking over it. It had reached a point where Cortney felt that if she does not get it fixed, she would be in a wheelchair in the next five years. She also felt that her condition has impacted her relationship. Cortney's boyfriend wants to have children one day, but she feels that her leg might stop her from being a mother who is present for their child.

Keeping all this in mind, Cortney thought it might be best to get it checked. Hoping that something could be done, Cortney met Dr Ebonie. Cortney explained that her ankle was the area that pained the most and her third toe was almost numb. She recalled that in school her friends would try to poke the thumb to see if she had any sensation.

When Dr Ebonie examined her foot, she noticed that Cortney had another bump that was at the bottom of her leg. She realized it was fatty tissue that had accumulated at the bottom. Dr Ebonie explained that it had been the cause of her pain as well. At the same time, the x- ray that Cortney had sent showed that she had an extra bone growth.

Dr Ebonie explained that Cortney had a condition called Hemihypertrophy, which is a genetic condition. She further stated that there was no proof of why it happened. Coming to the solution for this, Dr Ebonie revealed that Cortney will have to amputate the two deformed toes that she had as they were interfering with her walk.

At the same time, the surgery would focus on removing the excess tissue in the hope that Cortney would be able to walk better. Cortney admitted to doing anything as she wanted a better quality of life. Dr Ebonie assured her that she would be looking at what could be done and they would set up an appointment for her once the Covid-19 situation gets better.

'My Feet Are Killing Me' airs on Thursdays at 10.30 pm ET on TLC.
