'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' is back with new episodes as the show looks into Whitney Thore and Chase Severino's relationship. Whitney and Chase got engaged in Paris, and the viewers had to wait a couple of months to find out what happened next. Viewers of the show were shocked to find out that the two had broken up as Chase cheated on her with another woman.

While the upcoming episodes will follow up on the infamous breakup, the latest episode (November 10) showed how everyone around them reacted to the engagement. Most of her friends thought Whitney and Chase were rushing into getting engaged. They thought it would be better for the pair to spend more time together before thinking about walking down the aisle. Another person who did not seem happy with the engagement was Buddy Bell. Buddy has made it clear that he is not a fan of Chase. Whitney has had occasions where she had to choose between her best friend and fiance. However, after getting engaged, things became a bit clear for her.

Buddy and Whitney have always been close to each other, but seeing how she was engaged now, she decided it was best to maintain some distance. Whitney was taken aback when Buddy tried to pull her in for a hug. She was quick to confess that she did not want to have that kind of relationship anymore. She finally decided to confront him about it. Whitney was quick to tell Buddy that she was not fine with him being "touchy" with her anymore as she was engaged. She further added that Chase has never been comfortable with her and Buddy's relationship due to which she was rethinking the relationship she shared with her best friend.

Buddy was not pleased to hear "the new guy make the rules". Despite this, he decided to go with the plan. However, fans were quick to slam Whitney as they noticed Whitney was hugging her friend Tal Fish. "Oh so now that your “engaged” you’re not gonna touch buddy anymore. What a joke. You have been dragging him along and rubbing all over him for years. What a joke," one user wrote.

"Whitney getting angry at Buddy for touching her yet she's sitting in Tal's lap. Okay," read another. "Whitney is always inappropriate with her speaking out or touching others or oversharing, after telling Buddy hands-off, she is all over Tao? yeah Buddy isn't that into your new " fiance" but he will be there for you after Whitney," said another.

"Whitney: “Stop touching me” whilst hanging all over Tal. Don’t at me w “he’s gay.” Buddy is as much a threat to take Whitney away from Chase as Tal is at this point," wrote another.

'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' airs on Tuesdays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
