'My Big Fat Fabulous Life': Did hooking up put a dent in Whitney and Buddy's friendship?
Whitney Way Thore and Buddy Bell had a friendship that was unbreakable but ever since the two shared a moment with each other, things have been awkward between the two. It all happened when Whitney and Buddy hooked up during their outing but Buddy decided to brush it off.
Ever since then, Whitney and Buddy have been having a hard time getting on the same page as before. Things turned worse between the two when Whitney started dating Chase Severino. As Whitney started getting close to Chase, her and Buddy's relationship started taking a backseat.
There had been times when she had to pick Chase over Buddy and that put her in a tight spot while also messing her relationship with him. Unfortunately, it reached a point where Buddy felt that he would incline towards his old habits of drinking. In order to avoid that, he decided it would be better to step away from his real life and take a break.
However, he soon realized that he won't fully heal unless he made amends with Whitney with how he left things. He decided to give her a call and confess about how he had been feeling. Whitney assured him that there is nothing that he needs to apologize for. However, Buddy felt the need to.
Speaking to the camera, Whitney confessed that she felt Buddy was feeling the guilt about hooking up but she felt helpless as he was not open to discussing what had happened. She hinted that she wasn't too happy about what had happened as it had affected their relationship ever since.
With Buddy not wanting to touch upon the topic but still wanting to apologize, Whitney felt that things would not be normal unless the two sat together and discussed what had happened that day. Sadly, it does not look like that conversation is going to take place any time soon but that raises the question, will things get more awkward between the two?
