Whitney Way Thore and Buddy Bell have been having a problem keeping their friendship alive ever since Chase Severino came into her life. Whitney and Chase started dating each other soon after they met and this created a distance between Buddy and her. Until Chase was in the picture, Whitney and Buddy were inseparable but things seem to have changed.

Once Chase came into Whitney's life, her priorities changed. In today's episode of 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life', Buddy had invited Whitney to attend his acting performance that was set up for friends and family. Whitney assured Buddy that she would be there to support him.

Unfortunately, Whitney didn't realize that his performance was happening on the same weekend when she was set to meet Chase's family. Whitney told Chase that she had to go back home to watch Buddy's performance. This left Chase upset as he felt that she was prioritizing Buddy more than him.

The two got into an argument and Whitney told Chase that if she had to choose between him and Buddy, she would choose someone she has known for many years and did not doubt her about falling in love with another man.

However, soon Whitney realized how important it was for her to stay back and spend time with Chase's family. Whitney decided to not take her relationship for granted and admitted that if she had to look out for herself and her future, she would have to stay.

While she had made her decision, Whitney decided to not tell Buddy that she won't be coming as she thought it would make him upset which would also impact his performance. He reserved two seats for Whitney and was surprised that she wasn't there. He wondered if everything was fine.

Luckily, Tal Fish was there to support Buddy. Despite this, Buddy was pissed that Whitney was not there as he admitted that he had always made sure that she is by her side but he did not like not seeing her there.

'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on TLC.
