'My Big Fat Fabulous Life': Whitney feels a connection with Chase and wonders if they could be together
Whitney Thore kept thinking that her relationship with Buddy Bell would lead to something romantic but she was proved wrong when he decided to ignore their kiss and not talk about it for months. To make things worse, Whitney was not happy to see how Buddy joked about their kiss when she was in the middle of a serious conversation.
However, keeping this aside, Whitney thought of focusing on her new crush, Chase Severino, who happened to be the best friend of her fitness business partner, Ryan Andres. Chase has been helping the two with healthy food preparation to add to their business and he and Whitney had interacted three times before.
Whitney confessed that she felt like a connection with Chase and wanted to find out if he was single. Luckily, she had Ryan to help her out. Ryan told Whitney that Chase was single and wanted to help both of them get closer. To make this happen, he decided to leave the two alone and enjoy some time together.
Whitney confessed that she felt confused as to what to tell Chase but thought going for a walk might be the best way to get to know him more. The two ended up taking a walk outside her new apartment and later ended up sitting together to have a chat. Whitney and Chase spoke about their interests which ended with Whitney asking Chase to guess her weight.
She started with guessing his and surprised him by making a right guess about him weighing 200lbs. Meanwhile, Chase did not hit the nail right and guessed Whitney would weigh somewhere around 250. She later revealed that she weighed 330lbs.
The two felt really comfortable talking about everything and Whitney did not hesitate to mention Buddy. Even though she was confused about the relationship Buddy and she shared at the moment she made sure that Chase knew about him. The conversation ended with Chase inviting Whitney to visit a cider brewery and hinted that their relationship could turn romantic.
