'My 600-lb Life' Season 11: Patrick Macon slammed after viewers spot Confederate flag on his front door
COLUMBUS, GEORGIA: Patrick Macon, the latest addition to the 'My 600-lb Life' series, has already angered his fans with his lack of motivation to lose weight. What irritated them even more was the discovery of a Confederate flag in his home, which prompted many to call out the TLC personality.
Patrick weighs 657 pounds, and his weight has become an impediment in many areas of his life. And, as Dr Younan Nowzaradan says on the show, if Patrick doesn't take the program seriously, he shouldn't bother coming to it. Patrick's life was already full before he started his weight loss quest. Outside of 'My 600-lb Life,' Patrick is married and has a daughter. And these are two of the main reasons why he wants to change his lifestyle in his episode. Aside from the main storyline of the TLC show, Patrick has become the gossip of the town for all the wrong reasons.

On Reddit, a viewer wrote, "the confederate flag on the door of his house tells me everything I need to know about this man." Adding how they weren't fan of Patrick to begin with but somehow the flag made it worse, a viewer commented, "Anyone else catch a glimpse of that confederate flag on their front door sign?? You could only see half of it in the show when they’re leaving for Texas the first time but… good lord, really?? I mean, I already wasn’t a fan but that just seals it." Another person wrote, "That's all I really need to know to judge these people. SMH."
