MTV alum Johnny Bananas will also star in 'The Challenge: Battle of the Eras'

MAMANUCA ISLANDS, FIJI: 'The Challenge' alum Johnny Bananas has recently sparked speculations of starring in 'Love Island USA' Season 6. Johnny took to his Instagram Stories and shared a video from the airport. He mentioned in the video, "Nadi International Airport, Fiji."

Johnny previously posted a photo with Peacock show host Ariana Madix as the duo went to the same gym. Although Johnny didn't reveal his purpose for being at the same place where the Peacock show is currently filming, there's a possibility that he could have visited the island just for his vacation.

However, the dating show viewers are convinced by the photos and videos that Johnny would appear in the 'Aftersun' episode with the host Ariana. A social media user tweeted, "Johnny Bananas is in Fiji with Ariana. What kinda fucked up shit is he about to inflict. Watch him host movie night." Another person added, "Johnny bananas is in Fiji and just posted a video with Ariana. Guest hosting a game?! Rob will try to become his BFF."

Another critic noted, "No one needs to see Johnny Bananas on the island." Another internet user penned, "He posted a story with Ariana too he’s definitely not going on love island but maybe doing aftersun or something?" Another Reddit user said, "It’s a possibility but it’s just a weird crossover. I know he’s a clout chaser but Love Island is the last place i would have expected to see him in lol."

Johnny Bananas is all set to return to thrilling 'The Challenge: Battle of the Eras'. MTV show alum CT Tamburello will also return to the landmark season. The contestants will be divided into different 'eras'. The teams will notably compete in gruelling challenges for a grand prize of $1 million.

Meanwhile, Johnny will represent Era 2 of 'The Challenge' Season 40 which is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, August 14. He will be joined by other MTV show alums like Cara Maria Sorbello and Laurel Stucky.
