If there's one character on 'Modern Family' who has remained the same for over a decade, unhinged by literally anything, it’s none other than the Dunphys' youngest child Luke (Nolan Gould).

He might be one of the most reckless people you could have ever encountered but it seems like that is what the millennials love about him.

You might have seen him cluelessly jumping on the trampoline in his backyard with a box on the head, but might have missed noticing how he made extra bucks for years as a middle school student by never refusing the lunch money his father offered and also carrying a daily lunch prepared by his mother.

In a rather chaotic family that's always anxiety-ridden, Luke is seen entertaining himself by dancing to his own tunes. He lives life by the day, most of the time least bothered about what goes on in his own household.

Although Luke's character is mostly defined by his carefree and hare-brained behavior, there are more hidden layers to his character we ought to admire. It isn’t news to us that the Dunphy children can't spend a few moments together without wanting to yank one another's hair.

However, when the time came for Haley to leave for college, Luke hid her acceptance letter from the university so his sister wouldn't go away from him.

In the episode 'The Last Thanksgiving' from Season 11, Luke surprises his parents and us alike by presenting a business idea which seemed to hold a lot of potential.

It might have come across as a shocker initially, but it helped us achieve a better understanding of Luke before the show ended.

Playing by the rule "worry less live more", Luke comes across as a fresh breath of air in the usual family drama that's burdened by the littlest of things from everyday life. What do you like the most about Luke? Let us know.
