‘Modern Family’ Season 11: ‘The Last Christmas’ leaves fans weeping as they lament the end of beloved series on social media

‘The Last Christmas’ hinted at the members of all the different families on the show migrating to places far off, and it isn’t going so well with the fans
UPDATED DEC 13, 2019

One of the greatest sitcoms of the television era is going to end with the conclusion of ABC’s ‘Modern Family’.

Each year, we looked forward to witnessing the drama revolving around the unusual kinships unfold on the show. But, it isn’t going to be the same going forward as ‘Modern Family’ is currently in its final season.

The latest episode saw all the members of the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker family get together for Christmas celebrations. The latest offering had a lot to offer with respect to their usual fights, tears, and laughter.

Fans were however overwhelmed by the last holiday celebration on 'Modern Family' and were seen lamenting the series’ end through endless tweets.

“All right.... one last time for the Christmas season. I can’t believe the season is halfway home already. Really going to miss seeing these guys every week #ModernFamily,” one fan wrote.

Until episode 9 aired, ‘Modern Family’ Season 11 came across as repetitive and the viewers seemed disappointed with the plotline that seemed to be going nowhere.

However, ‘The Last Christmas’ brought our way a lot more than we expected!

“Is anyone else overly emotional about this being the LAST (new) Christmas episode of #ModernFamily that we will ever watch?! I'm sobbing. I've been there since day 1. I can't handle this,” another tweet read.

Unlike all the previous celebrations that brought all our beloved characters together, ‘The Last Christmas’ hinted at the members of all the different families on the show migrating to places far off, and it isn’t going so well with the fans.

As the last episode ended on a cliffhanger, we aren’t sure what the creators are planning on doing with characters or what sort of conclusion they are trying to bring to them.

All that the fans really want is to witness a few more celebrations before ‘Modern Family’ leaves us forever.
