ABC’s ‘Modern Family’ is returning with Episode 8 ‘Tree’s A Crowd’ on December 4, after a two-week break. Being one of the most intense episodes so far, ‘The Last Thanksgiving’ focused on the much-evident issues in some of the relationships, while it tried to rekindle the others. Going by the preview, Episode 8 promises more to what we’ve already seen and here’s what you can expect from the sitcom’s next offering.

In Episode 7, we saw Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitch (Tyler Jesse Ferguson) wallowing in self-pity to find out which one of them is more empathized by their friends in times of trouble. And, trouble in this context solely refers to Cam and Mitch’s hypothetical breakup, which is indicative of the underlying issues in their marriage, although it was represented on a funny note.

The Tucker-Pritchett couple wasn’t the only one with relationship issues, as Manny (Rico Rodriguez) was seen going through a rough time dealing with his and Sherry’s breakup, which the family seems to have had enough of!

‘Tree’s A Crowd’ will see Gloria and Jay help Manny deal with heartbreak, despite seeing themselves in the same position a zillion time. But that’s what families are for, right? To make you feel loved and wanted, even if the only person your world once revolved around ends up leaving you, precisely what is happening with the lonely teenager Manny.

Will he be able to look beyond his lady love with Gloria and Jay lending a helping hand or will he continue to dwell deep in his romantic past with Christmas just around the corner?

Meanwhile, the Dunphys will be busy hosting a new guest as Dylan’s hippie mother decides to visit them. Knowing how uptight Claire is about nearly everything in life and how Phil’s generosity towards non-family members has always irked his wife, we couldn’t wait to see what new trouble will ensue in their newly expanded and chaotic household.
