The unusual kinships in 'Modern Family' is one of the reasons we've gotten hooked to the show. The coming-of-age sitcom for over a decade entertained us with its quirky characters and their neverending misadventures, racking several awards.

As the series is nearing its end, we are watching a lot of drama and chaos unfold in the lives of our beloved characters. While the previous episode 'The Prescott' saw the family take advantage of Alex (Ariel Winter), the upcoming episode 'Legacy' is all set to present us with an emotional moment between the Pritchett siblings Claire (Julie Bowen) and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson).

Throughout the 11 seasons, we've witnessed that Claire and Mitch's relationship mirrors their childhood issues. The series has also established that their parents' parched marriage is one of the main factors to have drawn the siblings close.

While Mitch has always complained about his father's unreasonable expectations of him, Claire has without hesitation, blamed her father's inadequate parenting method for her shortcomings as a mother and a working professional.

However, Season 11 is trying to mend relationships that we had little hope for. For instance, 'The Last Christmas' saw Manny and Luke work their differences, despite their respective parents encouraging them to do otherwise.

Maybe to bring a decent conclusion or to instill some good ol’ family value factor, Episode 11 'Legacy' will see Claire and Mitch get nostalgic, as they recollect their first family vacation.

Even previously, we've seen the sibling duo indulge in endless chatter in the kitchen corner, often grouching about their spouses and children over a glass of wine. However, in the upcoming episode, what enables them to spend some quality time with each other is Jay’s memorandum, comprising the reminiscence of their childhood.

The synopsis for 'Legacy' also suggests that Phil would be visiting his father hearing some disturbing news.

As Episode 11 of 'Modern Family' comes across as highly emotional, prepare yourself to get teary-eyed, as the creators of the hit ABC series are leaving no stone unturned in making the last season a memorable one.
