'Miz and Mrs': Maryse Mizanin's negotiation skills surprises her hubby and leaves fans in awe
Maryse Mizanin left us floored yet again, but this time around not with her amazing wrestling skills but her surprisingly exceptional negotiation skills.
Season 2 of 'Miz and Mrs' premiered earlier on January 29 night, and the goofy couple Mike Mizanin and Maryse got into their element, leaving us thoroughly entertained. In the premiere episode, we saw the couple planning their daughter Monroe's first birthday. While Maryse wanted to go all out and throw an extravagant birthday bash for their daughter, penny-pincher Mike wasn't too keen on it.
When Maryse and Mike meet a woman to plan their daughter's birthday bash with all of Maryse's requirements, the bill comes up to roughly $10,600! Mike makes it clear that it is ridiculous to spend such an insane amount of money on a birthday bash for their daughter, which according to him she wouldn’t even remember. Maryse then reluctantly agrees with him and challenges Mike that she can throw an amazing party in under $500. Mike has a tough time believing it but accepts the challenge, and little did he know what a smart negotiator his wife is.
Maryse’s negotiation skills come shining through at this point. Maryse first pops into a cake shop and picks up a beautiful cake, which obviously is way over $500. This is when she shows off her coveted skill and manages to get the cake lady to get into a "trade-off" with her. The WWE wrestler lures the cake shop lady with free publicity for their store on her social media which boasts of more than 5 million followers in exchange for a free cake. Who can refuse such an offer? So, Maryse managed to score a beautiful cake for free.
Next up on her list for a memorable birthday bash is a great venue. Maryse goes to a game arena and picks up a package that costs her $1550 for two hours. Again, Maryse unleashes her secret weapon and manages to score the venue for free. How you ask?
This time she gets very creative. She sells out her famous WWE champion husband Mike. She gets the venue people to give her the space for free in exchange for Mike’s appearance there in his wrestling gear and promoting it himself on his social media. And kids, that’s how Maryse managed to throw the party of the year for her daughter under $500!

After watching Maryse in action, fans were in awe of her negotiation skills.
