'Miss World' 2019: Air time, date, judges, and everything you need to know about the 69th edition of the beauty pageant

111 contestants from different countries of the world will be participating in the competition. Later, 40 of them will be shortlisted for the next round.

The 69th edition of the Miss World competition will be held on Saturday, December 14th, in London, England. Over 100 countries are represented, and the delegates have actually been at the pageant for weeks, competing in several different preliminary competitions.

The pageant finals will feature the Top 40 who will be narrowed down to one winner. The 40 quarterfinalists were determined via six different preliminary competitions and events: the Head-to-Head interview challenge, the Top Model challenge, the Sports Day challenge, the Talent Challenge, the Multimedia Challenge and the Beauty With a Purpose event.

Air Time and Network

The competition airs live from ExCel Convention Centre in London on Saturday and can be watched on Fox at 8/7c.

Hosts

The pageant finale will be hosted by singers Peter Andre and Megan Young. Andre will also perform his hit Mysterious Girl at the event.

British TV personality and host of  'Good Morning Britain' Piers Morgan has been chosen to interview the final five contestants at the Miss World pageant finals. Piers, 54, has insisted that there's nothing stopping him from favoring the 'hottest' girl and says people don't want an 'ugly winner'.

Contestants

111 contestants from different countries of the world will be participating in the competition. Later, 40 of them will be shortlisted for the next round. Twelve of the top 40 have already been decided with 10 advancing from the head to head competition and four earning their place through other competitions. Two of the contestants who won other competitions also won their head-to-head contests.

Miss British Virgin Islands Rikkiya Brathwaite won the Sports Competition and became the first quarter-finalist of Miss World 2019. Miss Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh, was the winner of the Talent Competition and became the second quarter-finalist. Miss Nepal, Anushka Shrestha, was the winner of the Multimedia Competition and became the third quarter-finalist.
