'The White Lotus' Season 4 adds Max Greenfield, Kumail Nanjiani, and 3 new stars as anticipation builds
‘The White Lotus’ is welcoming more cast members as the next season promises more secrets and plenty of trouble. The show doesn’t just cast people and call it a day. It builds wildly mixed groups where everyone looks like they belong on a luxury vacation brochure at first glance, until every smile and dinner conversation starts to feel suspicious. However, that’s part of the fun and the dread. Season 4 is now shaping up, and while the main lineup is mostly locked in, the spotlight has shifted to the recurring cast members.
It was recently announced that Max Greenfield is joining the mix, and those who have seen him in ‘The Neighborhood’ already know he can flip from charming to slightly unhinged without warning. Alongside him is Kumail Nanjiani, who was recently seen in ‘Only Murders in the Building’. Chloe Bennet from ‘Interior Chinatown’ will also be part of the new season alongside Charlie Hall, who appeared in ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’, and Jarrad Paul, known for ‘The D Train’. That’s five new names stepping into recurring roles, each likely bringing their own chaos with them.
And while further details have not been made public yet, a few crumbs have slipped out. According to Deadline, Greenfield is rumored to be playing someone named Mitchell. Bennet’s character might go by Brynn, and Hall is possibly playing Zach. And then there’s the ever-growing cast list. Previously confirmed cast members include Sandra Bernhard, Helena Bonham Carter, Steve Coogan, Chris Messina, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Ari Graynor, Alexander Ludwig, Marissa Long, AJ Michalka, Dylan Ennis, Vincent Cassel, Corentin Fila, and Nadia Tereszkiewicz. Meanwhile, the setting this time shifts to France, adding excitement to the new season. Moreover, like past seasons, the story sticks to its one-week structure. Behind the camera, nothing changes, and that’s a good thing.
Mike White is still writing and directing, keeping his very specific tone intact. He’s also executive producing alongside David Bernad and Mark Kamine. There’s also a bit of a reunion happening. Jarrad Paul previously worked with White and Bernad on ‘The D Train’, where White even appeared on screen. Now, about when fans will actually see all this play out. While there's no official release date yet, according to estimates by Radio Times, the timeline points toward a possible summer 2027 premiere. That’s undoubtedly a long wait. But given the show’s track record, it’s sure to be worth it.
