Netflix officially confirmed on March 16 that four new cast members will be appearing in recurring roles on the upcoming 'Assassin's Creed' series. The list includes Ramzy Bedia ('Haunted Minds', 'Of Money and Blood'), Noomi Rapace ('Prometheus', 'The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo'), Corrado Invernizzi ('Ford v Ferrari', 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny'), and Sean Harris ('The Stranger', 'Mission: Impossible').
As of this writing, the character descriptions for these four actors remain tightly under wraps. Back in August 2025, the streaming platform announced the casting of Toby Wallace in an unnamed role, which is speculated to be a co-lead. Wallace's credentials include 'Eden' and 'The Bikeriders', and he will be next seen in the upcoming season three of HBO's 'Euphoria'.
The other confirmed members of the cast on the 'Assassin's Creed' series include Tanzyn Crawford, Lola Petticrew, Zachary Hart, and Laura Marcus.
Speaking about the streaming platform's vision for the much-anticipated video game adaptation series, Netflix's Vice President for Scripted Series, Peter Friedlander, mentioned in a statement, "When we first announced our partnership with Ubisoft in 2020, we set out with an ambitious goal to bring the rich, expansive world of Assassin’s Creed to life in bold new ways."
Friedlander further expressed that the show's creators, David Wiener and Robert Patino, have "crafted an epic adventure that both honors the legacy of the Assassin’s Creed franchise and invites longtime fans and newcomers alike to experience the thrill of the Brotherhood as never before." Both Patino and Wiener serve as executive producers, along with Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill, Gerard Guillemot, Genevieve Jones for Ubisoft Film & Television, and Matt O’Toole.
The plot details are yet to be announced as of this writing, and the official Netflix synopsis describes the upcoming series as, "Assassin’s Creed is a high-octane thriller centered on the secret war between two shadowy factions, one set on determining mankind’s future through control and manipulation, while the other fights to preserve free will. The series follows its characters across pivotal historical events as they battle to shape humanity’s destiny."
The video game first debuted in 2007 and has since become one of the most popular of all time. The franchise, which now comprises 14 instalments, has sold more than 230 million units globally.
