What do Oscar nominees get? From spa treatments to vacations, an inside look at the $350K lavish gift
Amid all the surprising wins and heartfelt speeches at the 2026 Oscars, most of the nominees went home without a golden statue. But Distinctive Assets ensured that this year's top 25 nominees received an 'everybody wins' gift bag containing an assortment of luxury items, beauty treatments, international getaways, and gourmet experiences. Lash Fary, co-founder of the LA-based marketing firm, shared that he intended to celebrate the nominees while helping small and emerging brands showcase their products. "This is something we do independently of the Academy with the intention of elevating small businesses, female-founded brands, and minority-owned companies, and also because losing sucks," he said, as per Great Day KC.
Fary began the gift-giving tradition at the Oscars 24 years ago, when the initial goodie bags cost around $16,000. Over the years, the cost skyrocketed, reaching $216,000 in 2025. But this year, Distinctive Assets has taken celebrity gifting to the next level as the swag bags are now worth a whopping $350,000. Let's take a look at what's inside the goodie bags. The most expensive items are, of course, the extravagant getaways, such as a super‑villa experience in Ibiza for up to 16 guests from Can Nemo ($65k), a luxury Costa Rican villa stay from Essence of Dreams ($30k), and an all-inclusive getaway for up to 10 guests in Switzerland ($50k). Other options include a luxury Arctic villa with Northern Lights viewing and a private chef, a seven-day wellness retreat in Southern California, and a 10-day wellness reset at a Michelin-recognized resort in Sri Lanka.
Hollywood A-listers can also indulge in beauty treatments. Among the products included are facials and massages from Desuar Spa ($400), invisible SPF sunscreen primer from Supergoop!, ArtLipo liposuction ($25k), the watermelon glow toner and Korean toner pads from Glow Recipe, a three-piece Swiss luxury skincare set from Instytutum, facial rejuvenation from Dr Konstantin Vasyukevich ($25k), a personalized porcelain restoration and smile makeover ($1,300), and a sculpt & lift facial experience and skincare products from Danucera.
For their jet-set lifestyle, celebrities are presented with two suitcases from Asia Luggage and luggage sets from Nere, Samsonite, GAP, and Stori ($220–$999). The gift bags also offer stars a Laagam Ivy handbag ($340), 16k gold-plated rings from Kaily, Violett, and Virginia ($29.99), an Ode Hobo bag ($130), and body-supportive underwear from Huha. Other lavish gifts include a luxury shower head from Grohe, a gold-plated crypto wallet ($49), a limited-edition fountain pen ($245), the Blonde, the Ferrari, and the Kwan by Mitch Gould ($39), and even a fully custom prenuptial agreement ($600).
