'Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles' Season 12 came to an explosive end on Tuesday, September 1. Even though Josh Altman and Tracy Tutor bagged a major listing — the historic Hollywood home, Barrymore Estate (which is about a 100 years old) — the pandemic stood in the way of them selling it. They had already taken up a lot by agreeing to sell a house that has been on and off the market for over half a decade, but there's still hope.

In the season finale, current owner Donna Scott, wife of 'Top Gun' director Tony Scott, welcomed the two with a wide smile as she shared with them the unique selling points of the house. The Scotts lived at the estate for over 22 years now but are now looking to move on from the 1926-built architectural marvel, which features original redwood floors made of slices of tree barks, cigar rooms where Hollywood greats would hang out and a massive pool that was used to organize synchronized swimming shows.

But that is just the tip of the iceberg. The 6976 sq. ft home houses century-old tiles, and a ceiling mural by Richard Piccolo. That's not all, it boasts of 7 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and a wrap-around veranda. Fact: during their stay, the family renamed the estate to Seabright, which was first built by King Vidor and finished by actor John Barrymore, Drew Barrymore's grandfather.

However, fans felt the listing should have gone to Josh Flagg as he has expertise in houses with history. Dated properties are Flagg's specialty and he has proven his expertise in that area enough number of times, which explains why he was sworn in the commissioner of Beverly Hill’s Cultural Heritage Commission on July 8. "Very honored to step in and take Noah Furie's place as commissioner," he wrote in the caption of the post. "Thank you Noah for all your years of hard work! I have very big shoes to fill," he had posted on Instagram.

"Super sad Josh Flagg didn’t have the Sea Bright listing. He would have been geeking out in the best way. #MDLLA," a viewer commented while another shared: "This type of house is Josh Flagg’s expertise. He excels with unique, historic homes. #MDLLA."

"Love this Home, but these are Josh Flagg's expertise," a user posted on the show's Facebook page. "Why wasn’t Flagg called for this Barrymore listing? #MDLLA," another asked.
