Air time

The official Instagram account of Migos had shared a statement via their record label Quality Control Music revealing that ‘Culture III’ will hit the Internet on June 11, 2021. The text image simply mentioned the date along with a quote that read, “We Are Back.”

Concept

Migos’ Quavo had first teased his fans with the ‘Culture III’ announcement in October 2018 revealing that the album will be released “at the top of 2019.” However, the plan later changed as during a Twitter Q&A session in March 2019, Offset spilled the beans saying the album was postponed to 2020 on the Culture anniversary weekend. In order to keep the hopes alive, Migos first released the album’s lead single ‘Give No Fxk’ in February 2020 and followed it up with ‘Need It’ in May 2020. The album was indefinitely postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak until Migos dropped an official trailer on their Instagram account in January 2021. Migos maintained the hype of the album and released the third single called ‘Straightenin’ from ‘Culture III’ in mid-May of 2021.
