Did Saweetie LIE about Quavo's cheating? Migos rapper trolled as ‘f**kboy’ after saying ‘I had love for you’
The drama between former love birds Quavo and Saweetie took a new turn after the latter came forward on Twitter to share that she was indeed parting her ways with the Migos member after “too much betrayal and hurt” and amid the cheating rumors. The female emcee had cleared the air when things went sour after she had appeared with Quavo on a Revolt TV interview hosted by Justin Laboy and Saweetie's rumored past lover Justin Combs.
Now, controlling the break-up narrative, Quavo too shared his feelings on the micro-blogging site with his more than 3 million followers and claimed that he had love for Saweetie but she ended up disappointing him. He also mentioned that she was not the woman he thought she was.

‘I had love for you and disappointed you did all that’
A lot has been said and done on the Internet and therefore, it seems Quavo wanted to clear the air on the highly-controversial matter. Addressing the reports, the 29-year-old hip-hop artist first tweeted, “I know you want to make this into a show so I’ll play my part just this one time. I don’t normally put my business out there, especially my personal life. I feel the need to address this so there are no false narratives.” Without wasting any time, the multiple award-winning rapper took to Twitter again, and added, “I had love for you and disappointed you did all that. You are not the woman I thought you were. I wish you nothing but the best.”
The hip-hop heavyweight was first rumored to be sleeping with Lil Wayne's daughter Reginae Carter in November 2020 while he was still dating Saweetie. However, he had quashed all the rumors by tweeting, "Internet Crazy man, Not Weezy Daughter No!" He also added the snowflake and fingers crossed emojis to show the strong bond between him and Saweetie. However, the tweet was probably deleted later. Quavo and Saweetie first made their relationship official in 2019 and dated for two years before heading in different directions.

‘I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt’
Quavo’s reply came after Saweetie’s tweet where she ended all the speculations confirming the split between the two. “I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.” The confirmation of their breakup came a day after the duo unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Saweetie was the first one to remove Quavo and the Migos rapper returned the favor by doing the same. The ‘controversial’ interview in question which fans have pointed out to be a reason for their alleged split had some flirtatious banter. Reportedly, co-host Combs and Saweetie were a thing when the 27-year-old ‘My Type’ crooner went to the University of Southern California.
