Hallmark’s upcoming romance offering ‘Midway to Love’, which is slated to premiere on June 26, follows Dr Rachel August (Rachel Hendrix), a television therapy show host and her highschool boyfriend Mitchell (Daniel Stine). The story is built around their unexpected reunion which places Rachel in a tough position as she needs to choose between her profession and a budding romance with Mitchell. The film stars real-life couple Rachel Hendrix and Daniel Stine. Here’s everything you need to know about them ahead of ‘Midway to Love’ release.

Rachel Hendrix, who plays the lead role of Rachel August in ‘Midway to Love’ gained popularity for her feature debut in the 2011 award-winning film ‘October Baby’. Helmed by Andrew and Jon Erwin, the film helped Hendrix garner national acclaim. On establishing herself as a successful actor, she went on to feature in a number of television series and movies. Having been associated with the Hallmark channel for previous projects, Hendrix is known for playing a supporting role in ‘Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses’. Her notable works in television include ‘Semper Fi’, ‘Shooting Heroin’ and Lifetime's ‘Nightclub Secrets’.  Hendrix has also featured in the Netflix series ‘Creepshow’ and ‘Raising Dion’. 
She recently finished filming a lead role in ‘Unveiled’, her forthcoming feature film. Hendrix will be next seen opposite Charlie Hunnam and Mel Gibson in the American-British action thriller film, ‘Waldo’. 

On the personal front, she’s married to her on-screen lover from ‘Midway to Love’ in real life. Hendrix resides with Daniel Stine in Atlanta, Georgia.

Rachel Hendrix’s husband Daniel Stine is essaying the role of Mitchell in ‘Midway to Love’. They first met on the sets of their film ‘Virginia Minnesota’. Stine helmed the coming-of-age dramedy starring Hendrix. Although he has acted in a Hallmark film, he’s spent the majority of his adult life writing, producing and directing movies. He’s played Detective Glassburn in the 2016 film ‘Radical’ and made guest appearances in ‘Surviving Disaster’ and ‘Vindication’. He has produced short films such as ‘Grape’ from 2013 and 2011’s ‘God and vodka’ under the home banner of his production company Rushaway Pictures.

Andrew Hunters is an American actor who ventured into the realm of entertainment after graduating with a major in both musical theatre and media communications. He appeared as Jonah in the series of the same title ‘Jonah’ from 2014 to 2016. He is also known his roles in ‘The Resident’, 'Insatiable’, and ‘The Gifted’.
